Very excited to announce a special #MadeOnAMobile filmmaking workshop happening at Dundee’s Discovery Point, home to the actual exploration and research Ship RRS Discovery.
Its first mission was the British National Antarctic Expedition, carrying Robert Falcon Scott and Ernest Shackleton on their first, and highly successful, journey to the Antarctic, known as the Discovery Expedition (1901–1904).
And the exploration connections don’t end there…
This special #MadeOnAMobile workshop is in aid of Polar Academy, a Scottish charity committed to creating the community leaders of tomorrow – “Inspiration through Exploration”.
Polar Academy operates entirely on donations and sponsorship. It’s currently the subject of a four part documentary on BBC Scotland and iPlayer, “Arctic Academy”).
Discovery Point have Kindly donated the use of the Discovery Suite (and access to the ship) for this workshop which means every penny of your donation will go directly to The Polar Academy 2020 fund.
